Alpha Chi Omega
Alpha Chi Omega works throughout the nation to build awareness of domestic violence, help prevent it, and to aid those who are victims. The Zeta Nu chapter at Texas A&M helps to support this cause by donating and volunteering at Phoebe's Home, the local domestic violence shelter.
Victims of domestic violence needing emergency shelter are referred to Phoebe's Home, a component of Twin City Mission's DVS Program. Founded in 1978, Phoebe's Home is an emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence. Phoebe's Home operates 24 hours a day, and primarily serves Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Leon, Madison, Robertson and Washington counties.
In addition to services made available to non-residents, Phoebe's Home provides emergency shelter, nutritional meals, laundry facilities, daily needs (toiletries, clothing), transportation, and recreational activities for its residents.
The Domestic Violence Services program supports an active volunteer system. Volunteer opportunities include: assisting with clerical support, child play, organizing/facilitating children's activities, tutoring, education/training for residents, assisting with daily living activities, minor maintenance, grounds keeping, and fundraising.

Chi Omega
Chi Omega has the honor of sponsoring Still Creek Ranch and the Make-A-Wish Foundation through our annual fundraiser, Songfest. Songfest is a variety show in which thousands of Aggies participate and compete to win money for their philanthropies. We are honored to donate over $100,000 to over 27 participating philanthropies every year. On top of that, we donate our time and funds to Still Creek Ranch, which is a Christ-centered home and school for kids who have been removed from crisis situations. Each year, we also grant a wish to a child with a life-threating medical condition through the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Delta Delta Delta
Children's Cancer Charities is the focus of Tri Delta members' philanthropic efforts. The mission of these charities is to help alleviate the suffering of children with cancer. In 1999, Tri Delta members extended their philanthropic efforts to the patients and families of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Tri Deltas across the country became united in an effort to help children from all over the world afflicted with cancer and other catastrophic illnesses.
Since the partnership began, Tri Delta has funded the hospital's Teen Room by challenging members to raise $1 million over a four-year period. The Teen Room is a very special place for teenagers to relax, hang out with other teens and take a break from their parents, doctors and nurses. The Teen Room is equipped with internet, video games, stereos and other activities. In the 2005-2006 school year Tri Deltas raised the bar by raising more than $1 million for St. Jude in a single year. This donation was one of the single largest gifts given by a sorority to a charity.
President: Lainey Bostic
Delta Gamma
Our national philanthropy is Service for Sight; Delta Gammas across the nation raise funds and volunteer their time to assist the blind and visually impaired. Our chapter has raised thousands of dollars to donate to Service for Sight through events such as Backyard BBQ and Dig it with DG. Some of the money we raise is also returned to our members in the form of scholarships and fellowships.
In addition to raising money at Backyard BBQ and Dig it with DG, Dee Gees perform many other local service projects which allow us to give back to a community that is always so willing to open its arms to our sorority and college students. Each year, our members do good by sponsoring an Aggie Guide Dog to assist the visually impaired students at Texas A&M. Also, several women visited Guide Dogs of Texas to spend the day learning about the dogs and their duties when aiding the blind. In addition, we host holiday parties at our house for the visually impaired and also collect Christmas gifts for under priviledged children in the community. Eta Gamma has teamed up with the University of Houston Delta Gamma chapter and volunteered together at the Beeping Easter Egg Hunt hosted by the Lighthouse of Houston. This has been a wonderful opportunity for us to interact with many children who are visually impaired and their families by playing games and making crafts. It also gives us a chance to get to know Dee Gee sisters from another chapter.
President: Evelyn Brower
Delta Zeta
Delta Zeta’s national philanthropy is devoted to better speech and hearing! Our chapter’s philanthropic efforts benefit both national and local partners. Nationally, we support Starkey Hearing Foundation, Gallaudet University, and The Painted Turtle Camp. On a local level, we work with Isaiah's Place, a camp devoted to the hearing impaired.
President: Kelsey Hyman
Gamma Phi Beta
Gamma Phi Beta's philanthropic mission is Building Strong Girls. We support this mission through our philanthropy Girls On The Run; a non-profit organization dedicated to shaping 3rd through 8th grade girls into confident young women. The girls participating in the program attend an after school program twice a week where they do confidence building and team building exercises all while training for a 5K. At the end on the program, the girls all run in a 5K to prove to themselves that they can do anything they put their mind to. Gamma Phi Beta here at Texas A&M is proud to support the Houston Area Girls On The Run programs.
President: Carley Rector
Kappa Alpha Theta
The Delta Omega chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta is committed to service. Scotty's House and CASA - Voices for children are the chapters local and national philanthropies, respectively. Through fundraising events such as Theta Fiesta and Rock the CASA Theta 5k, the chapter was able to raise over $107,600 for Scotty's House and CASA - Voices for Children in 2013.
Kappa Alpha Theta also serves the community through the largest student run service project in the nation, The Big Event. Another annual event the chapter participates in is Halloween on Sorority Row, where children from the community can come for fun and games in a safe "trick or treating" environment. In addition, the chapter volunteers at the fall festivals and book fairs for local elementary schools and serves meals at the Twin City Mission soup kitchen.
President: Skylar Hancock
Kappa Delta
Kappa Delta's goal is to promote confidence in women and children so that they may grow up to live happy, healthy lives. Every year, KD collegiate and alumnae chapters raise more than $1.5 million dollars to benefit child abuse prevention efforts. A full 80 percent of the money raised stays in the community and is donated to our local partner, the Prenatal Clinic of Bryan, while the remaining 20 percent is donated to our national partner, Prevent Child Abuse America. PCAA was founded by a Kappa Delta, the late Donna Stone, Lambda-Northwestern, which makes the cause that much more relevant to our sorority. The Prenatal Clinic of Bryan, Texas provides community-centered prenatal care and health education to medically indigent pregnant women in the Brazos Valley. Our 2014 Shamrock events consisted of a Spaghetti Dinner and men’s flag football tournament which together raised over $60,000.
President: Lindsay Earnest
Kappa Kappa Gamma
Texas A&M Kappa Kappa Gamma has two major philanthropies: Reading Is Fundamental (RIF) and The Nehemiah Center of Navasota. RIF is our national philanthropy and promotes literacy to young children. At our local philanthropy, The Nehemiah Center, we have girls there everyday to tutor and provide other after school services to the children. The Nehemiah kiddo's have grown very near and dear to our hearts. We raise money for The Nehemiah Center and RIF through our two annual philanthropy events: Kappa Kookout, in April, and the Kappa Kolor Run, in November.

Pi Beta Phi
Throughout the school year, Pi Phi members volunteer at Pi Phi’s local philanthropy, Barbara Bush Parent Center (BBPC). Located directly across from campus and less than five minutes from the Pi Phi house, BBPC is the place Pi Phis come together to impact this local literacy program.
Offering services to the Brazos Valley area since January 1997, BBPC works to bridge the gap between literacy and the population of families in our community. BBPC is a place where Head Start parents can come free of charge, take educational and ESL classes, and utilizes childcare services that will benefit them and their families.
At BBPC, Pi Phi members volunteer as classroom assistants helping in ESL, GED, and parenting classes. Another way Pi Phi’s volunteer is assisting with childcare and interacting with the children of the parents who are attending educational classes. Pi Phis also help run community events. Whatever the task, Pi Phis LOVE having the opportunity to provide support to BBPC.
