All About Sabi
Sabi Boutique was started by a mother-daughter trio: Janis Stancik, Meredith McAuliffe and Natalie Wood, and is currently operated by Janis and Meredith. Natalie followed her college sweetheart to Spokane, Washington and is the designer of Natalie Wood Designs--sold exclusively at Sabi Boutique. Here at Sabi, it is so important to ensure that every single person who shops with us feels confident and beautiful. This philosophy was created the moment Janis, Meredith and Natalie decided they wanted to start Sabi Boutique, and it has been instilled every day since. Meredith and Janis want every woman to wear it with confidence, flaunt it with class, and live it by grace.
Meredith McAuliffe is married to Shane McAuliffe (creator of The Texas Bucket List), and has two children, Ireland and Declan. She is a Baylor graduate and worked at KBTX for many years, until she decided she wanted to combine her love of fashion and people, and create Sabi Boutique with her mother! In the store every day, Meredith loves bringing in the newest trends and being hands on, interacting with as many customers as possible.
Janis (also known as Queen Sabi), has been married to her husband, David, for 39 years, and has three children and six grandchildren! She still lives in La Grange, Texas, but commutes back and forth to College Station so she can be hands on in the store. During her time at Texas A&M, Janis organized youth activity at the Combined Community Action Agency, and continued to participate in community service until Sabi was opened. Even though Janis does not volunteer at the CCAA, she still helps people by brightening the days of anyone who encounters her.
For the seven years that Sabi has been open, Janis and Meredith have been adamant about giving back to the Bryan/College Station community, always saying yes to donation opportunities and profit shares with various organizations throughout BCS! Come shop Sabi to experience how unique of a boutique we are!
